I really liked little miss sunshine, I really like Emily Blunt and I really like Amy Adams.
I should have loved Sunshine cleaning, and in a way did but something was missing, and I think the story seriously lacked a clear path to follow. The start was pretty clear and there were some funny moment and some really good acting, but towards the end, it felt like it was just wrapping up in a hurry. There was no logic to the end. The characters had focused on themselves, and it was all good but it could have done with 10 more minutes.
On the good side, I liked the aesthetics of the movie. Everything was very indie, and the sun in the background reminded me of Little mis sunshine. The acting was perfect. It’s a good movie if you’re looking for an american indie movie, that goes with the flow and is very agreeable to watch.
If you want to follow a real story and go from point A to B of the story, then, you probably should consider something else.
