Jack Wills Fernham skinnies

Jack Wills is a brand I have been wearing for years. I love their high quality, the good fabrics they use and their simple but chic designs.

Despite being well known for their colourful hoodies and their British heritage style, they also have another strong suit: their denim range. Over the years I had been seduced by their boyfriend jeans which are one of my staples and their colourful skinnies. I had not bought any of their denim in a couple of years though but a few months ago I tried on their Fernham skinny range which boast a staggering 2% elastane and 20% lyocell combination with cotton and modal. And boy are those comfortable! But on top of being very comfy, they are extremely slimming. It’s as if those jeans act as wearable spanx. I originally had got the black jeans but was back within a week to get the dark indigo. They retail at only £49 so are a bargain for the quality and style you get. I also like that the waist is not too low so that you can wear a short top and not risk exposing your backside to the population of London.

For wearability, I would suggest the dark indigo with a chambray shirt for a sot approach to the double denim trend. There is no need to repeat that black skinnies will go with everything but I particularly like pairing them with a lace or transparent tee shirt with a brassiere underneath on a night out.

Shoe possibilities with those skinnies are endless but I particularly like loafers and New Balance trainers at the moment.
